Born in Bergamo, Michela Ghisetti has lived and worked in Vienna since 1992. She studied at the Accademia Carrara di Belle Arti and the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna under the mentorship of Gunter Damisch. A recipient of the STRABAG Artaward, she was featured in a major solo exhibition at the Albertina Museum in 2021. Her multifaceted practice fluctuates between abstraction and figuration, interweaving biographical elements with deep philosophical inquiries.
