Intersection of Temporalities

Elham Hadian, Ryts Monet and Farniyaz Zaker

Rooted in historical practices, the exhibition explores the intertwining of past and contemporary structures. We inhabit environments formed by the perpetual unearthing, recollecting, and restoring of the evanescent. Within these processes, the traditional notion of acquiring is muted; instead, the works function as a meditative exploration of the threshold between physical substance and an imaginative, pathologically liminal present. The practice exists here, somewhere between reimagining existing spaces and negotiating life with what is beyond us.

Oscillating on the verge of the landscape metaphor, the imaginative present unfolds. By acknowledging the complex layers of our surroundings, our shared world is approached not as a static archive, but as permeable substance. This flow of knowledge is inherently collaborative in favor of a consolidated yet segmented understanding of history.
