The focus of Barvinskyi Art Gallery is directed towards promoting established artists alongside emerging artists and voices that often remain unheard.

We exhibit both international and local Austrian artists, emerging, as well as well established, weaving their narratives into the universal fabric of contemporary art.

We strive to promote social engagement, whilst offering our expertise, we aim to foster cultural exchange in an inclusive space that encourages open discussions and a versatile engagement with art.

Meet the visionary behind our gallery, Alexander Barvinskyi. An Ukrainian native who now calls Vienna his home, Alexander has always been deeply passionate about the world of art. His love for creative expression found its true calling when he set foot into the vibrant Viennese art scene over a year and a half ago. With each day spent in this captivating city, he was inspired a new by the artistic energy that thrives in Vienna. It was here that he realized the moment was ripe to establish a gallery, a space where artists could be celebrated, and their creations could ignite a profound dialogue with the world. Alexander's commitment to nurturing and showcasing artistic talent makes our gallery a true reflection of his boundless enthusiasm for art and culture.

Guiding the artistic journey of our gallery is Rosaura Cauchi, an Italian native, who has brought her unique blend of academic expertise and passion to Vienna, where she's on the cusp of completing her Ph.D. in Ancient Oriental Studies. Her academic journey has been manifolded, encompassing the fields of archaeology, art history, and Assyriology. What sets Rosaura apart is her innate ability to bridge the past with the present. Her fascination with archaeology and contemporary art comes to light when creating exhibitions, where the rich tapestry of history seamlessly intertwines with the contemporary world. Rosaura's vision brings adistinctive dimension to our gallery, ensuring each exhibit is a captivating journey that invites visitors to explore the intersections of time, culture, and creativity.

Bogdan Koshevoy, born in 1993 in Dnipro, Ukraine, is a contemporary artist based in Venice. He studied painting at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kiev from 2012 to 2015. In 2015, he relocated to Venice, where he now resides and works.
