Born in Mérida, Yucatán (Mexico) in 1986, Maximiliano León studied painting under the guidance of Sofia Táboas and José Luis Sanchez Rull the E.N.P.E.G. La Esmeralda (Mexico City). He further pursued his artistic education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, in the class of Daniel Richter, where he completed his diploma in 2019. His work has been exhibited in New York, Dubai, Hong Kong, Mexico City, Berlin, Tokyo and Vienna, among others. Currently, he resides and works in Vienna.
